The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Bolton area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.
*Please note that new passes are accepted for Class 2 however, Class 1 will require between 3-6 months experience unless you have drove Class 2 prior to Class 1*
Roles available:
*HGV Class 2 days - 6am starts
*HGV Class 1 afternoons - 14:00pm starts
*HGV Class 1 nights - 22:00pm starts
Hours: 5 out of 7 shifts a week across Monday to Sunday (weekends included & required)
Pay Rate:
*Class 2 days - £13.49 rising to £14.19 after 12 weeks
*Class 1 afternoons - £14.41 rising to £15.11 after 12 weeks
*Class 1 nights - £15.92 rising to £16.62 after 12 weeks

The role:
· Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
· Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
· Drivers will be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck
· Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
· Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E or C).
· Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

· No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
· Full understanding of WTD legislation.
· Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
