The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Winwick area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.
No Experience? Just Starting out? No problem!
*Drivers need to be available for immediate start after completion of assessment*
Roles Available:
*HGV Class 1 - afters & nights
*HGV Class 2 - afters & nights
Hours:
*Afternoons - Across Sunday to Saturday (weekends included) - 13:00pm onwards start
*Nights - Across Sunday to Friday (weekends included) - 22:00pm - 03:00am starts
Pay Rate:
*Class 1 afters - £15.10 per hour, rising to £15.80 after 12 weeks
*Class 1 nights - £16.56 per hour, rising to £17.26 after 12 weeks
*Class 2 afters - £13.85 per hour, rising to £14.60 after 12 weeks
*Class 2 nights - £15.65 per hour, rising to £16.35 after 12 weeks
Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate
The role:
*Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.
*Handling runs, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork.
*Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck.
*Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
*Full UK driving license with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E & C).
*Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
*No more than 6 points on license (minor offences only).
*Full understanding of WTD legislation.
*Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
*Excellent communication skills.
*A safety-first mindset.
