Are you an experienced Accounts Assistant / Semi-Senior Accountant looking to take the next step in your career within a supportive and growing accountancy practice? We’re working with a well-established firm based in Leigh-on-Sea that is looking to add a motivated individual to their team.

The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in practice-based accounting. You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks, supporting a diverse client base and working closely with senior team members.
Key Responsibilities
*Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
*Bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns
*Assisting with payroll processing
*Supporting with year-end accounts and tax returns
*Communicating with clients to resolve queries
*Using cloud-based accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage
Ideal Candidate
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
*AAT qualified or close to completing the qualification or ACCA/ACA Part-Qualified
*Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
*Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office
*A proactive and team-oriented approach
