Job Description:
Senior Accountant Position – Chelmsford!
Reed is currently representing a well-established Accountancy Practice based in the Chelmsford area, who are looking for an ACA/ACCA/AAT or Qualified by Experience Qualified Senior Accountant, who has got experience managing a portfolio of clients.
Job Role
*Preparation & review of accounts for submission.
*Processing of personal tax returns for review, including information gathering
*Management of business tax matters for self-employed accounts.
*Build trusted relationships with clients & organisation, including HMRC.
*Advise on work throughout the year, providing a commercial mindset to planning.
*Support colleagues with ad hoc duties as required.
*Review the work of other team members, providing construction & supportive feedback.
Job Requirements
*ACCA/ACA/AAT or Qualified by Experience
*Must have at least 4 years of experience within an Accountancy Practice
*Experience using Xero, QuickBooks & Sage
*Previously assisted junior members of staff
