Description
The Senior Financial Accountant will:
*Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with accounting standards.
*Manage month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
*Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
*Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations to management.
*Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
*Support the budgeting and forecasting process for the accounting & finance team.
*Maintain and improve internal financial controls and processes.
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Profile
The successful Senior Financial Accountant should have:
*A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
*Experience in financial reporting and compliance.
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
*Ability to work collaboratively within an accounting & finance team.
*A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements
