The CDM Principal Designer will work across a variety of projects, supporting clients through the full design and construction lifecycle. If you are a self-starter who can work autonomously, then you will thrive in this professionally yet collaborative environment.
The CDM Principal Designer’s role
The appointed CDM Principal Designer will:
*Carry out Principal Designer duties under CDM 2015
*Lead on health and safety in design stages
*Liaise with clients and attend design meetings
*Produce relevant H&S documentation
*Assist with internal training and mentoring
The CDM Principal Designer
*4 years’ experience in CDM Principal Designer role (essential)
*NEBOSH Construction Certificate (essential)
*APS Membership or TechIOSH (preferred)
*Knowledge of public sector procurement (desirable)
*Professional and collaborative communicator
