Join my client’s team as a Pool Care and Lifesaver. This role is crucial for maintaining the safety and operational standards of the swimming facilities. You will be responsible for the care, maintenance, and lifesaving duties at the swimming pool, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all users.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
*Supervise swimming activities, ensuring adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.
*Manage the swimming pool plant equipment, including water treatment, filtration, chemical dosing, and heating systems to maintain high water quality and safety.
*Conduct routine monitoring, maintenance, and record-keeping of the pool equipment in line with health and safety regulations.
*Assess pool conditions for safety and develop action plans for emergencies.
*Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the pool, equipment, and adjacent grounds.
*Perform thrice-daily checks of the pool and be present for lifesaving duties.
*Record chemical checks of the pool and communicate any issues to the Site Manager.
*Assist in maintaining the grounds in a presentable condition and manage specific areas such as the pond and the area outside the swimming pool.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Lifeguard, with willingness to train as a pool plant operator is essential.
*Ability to work effectively without supervision and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
*Commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.
*Physically fit, active, and mobile, with a clean, full driving licence.
Desirable:
*RLSS UK Qualifications or National Pool Plant Operators Certificate.
*Previous experience in a pool or lifesaving role
*Working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
*Excellent communication skills.
