Job Title: Technical Sales Manager
Location: Springhill Industrial Estate, GL56 9TP, Gloucestershire
Travel: UK-wide with occasional EU travel
Reporting To: CEO
Divisions: Manufacturing & Engineering (primary), Site & Installation Services, Design & Technology, Environmental Waste Solutions

With continued growth and investment, including a new advanced manufacturing facility, the company is evolving through data-led design, digital monitoring, and technology-enabled engineering.
Role Purpose
The Technical Sales Manager will lead sales of engineered and technology-enhanced products, focusing on Manufacturing & Engineering. This includes tanks, storage systems, and integrated fuel infrastructure, using data-led design to enhance competitiveness.
The role involves collaboration across all business pillars to deliver end-to-end client solutions — from design and manufacture to installation, monitoring, and decommissioning. Mentorship from the current Managing Director will support continuity of client relationships and strategic sales activity.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
*Drive sales of fuel storage systems and engineered solutions in UK and selected EU markets.
*Build strong client relationships and lead technical proposals, quotations, and tenders.
*Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored, high-value solutions.
*Support the commercial development of the new manufacturing facility.
Cross-Pillar Collaboration
*Work with internal teams to deliver turnkey solutions.
*Promote automation and remote monitoring with Design & Technology.
*Support full lifecycle offerings with Environmental Waste Solutions.
*Contribute to innovation projects combining engineering and emerging technologies.
Commercial Leadership
*Develop account plans and pipeline forecasts.
*Provide insights for strategic planning.
*Represent the company at industry events and client meetings.
About You
You are a commercially minded technical professional with a track record in engineered or technology-enhanced solutions. You thrive at the intersection of engineering, manufacturing, and client engagement.
Essential Experience
*Proven success in technical product sales (e.g., tanks, fuel systems, turnkey solutions).
*Strong understanding of manufacturing and system design.
*Experience with multi-disciplinary teams in engineering or infrastructure.
*Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
