Are you an experienced Lower KS2 Teacher with a passion for engaging pupils and creating a positive learning environment? Reed Education is working with a welcoming primary school in Plymouth to recruit a talented teacher for an immediate start.
This is a full-time role with full classroom responsibility, including planning, marking, attending meetings, and learner reviews. You’ll be paid to scale from day one and have the opportunity to make a real impact in a supportive school setting.
What You’ll Be Doing:
*Deliver high-quality lessons for Lower KS2 pupils.
*Complete all planning and marking in line with school expectations.
*Attend staff meetings and contribute to learner progress reviews.
*Support pupils with SEN needs, including planning for those with EHCPs.
*Engage pupils through creative teaching strategies and build strong relationships with learners, parents, and colleagues.
*Communicate professionally with staff and external agencies.
What We’re Looking For:
*UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
*Experience teaching KS2 pupils.
*Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport.
*Strong classroom management and ability to engage learners.
*Understanding of SEN strategies and inclusive teaching practices.
*DBS on the Update Service is a plus, or willingness to obtain one through Reed (£49.50).
