Bar Supervisor – Fylde Rugby Club
Are you ready to take the lead in a lively, community-focused environment? Fylde Rugby Club is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced Duty Manager to join our dedicated team as we enter an exciting new era of growth and investment.
About Fylde Rugby Club
Established in 1919, Fylde Rugby Club is one of the North West’s most historic and respected rugby clubs. Nestled in the heart of Lytham St Annes, we’re more than just a sports club — we’re a vibrant social hub at the centre of our local community. With three busy bars, regular matches, social events, and private functions, no two days are ever the same.
As we look to the future with exciting new developments and investments, we’re looking for someone who shares our passion for great service, teamwork, and community spirit.
Your Role:
Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of our bars and functions. You’ll lead by example, ensuring that every member and guest enjoys a top-quality experience.
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee the daily running of the bar and manage the team during shifts
*Lead, motivate, and support your team to deliver excellent service
*Maintain high cleanliness and hygiene standards across all bar areas
*Handle cashing up and end-of-shift reporting
*Set up and break down stations for daily service, events, and match days
*Help maximise sales and profitability across all bars and events
About You:
We’re looking for a confident and approachable individual who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys being part of a close-knit team.
You’ll have:
*Previous experience supervising or managing in a bar or hospitality setting
*Strong knowledge of drinks and bar operations (across multiple bars is a plus!)
*A friendly and professional approach with both members and staff
*Flexibility to work weekends, events, and varied shifts
*A proactive attitude and a passion for great service
