SEND Teaching Assistant
*Daily Rate: £95 - £120

We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Plumstead. This role involves working with pupils who have challenging behaviours, providing them with the support they need to succeed in their educational journey.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), focusing on those with challenging behaviours.
*Work closely with the classroom teacher to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
*Assist in the development and implementation of behavioural strategies.
*Facilitate inclusive learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of all students.
*Monitor and record the progress of pupils, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
*Maintain a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience working in a school setting, particularly with SEND pupils.
*Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special needs.
*Ability to manage challenging behaviour effectively.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*A patient, caring, and professional demeanour.
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
