Junior Project Manager - 6-Month Contract (Extension Possible)
We are seeking a Junior Project Manager to support a major client on a high-priority initiative. This is an urgent requirement, and we are looking to progress suitable candidates quickly.
Role Details * Title: Junior Project Manager
* Locations: 3 positions in Northampton, 1 position in Knutsford
* Duration: 6 months, with potential 6-month extension based on performance
* Working Model: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week)
Key Requirements * Strong experience working within Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
* Demonstrated change management capability
* Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder-engagement skills
* Ability to support project planning, RAID management, reporting, and governance
* Exposure to banking, financial services, or IT project environments
Key Responsibilities * Support day-to-day delivery across multiple Agile workstreams
* Assist in the creation and maintenance of project plans, reports, dashboards, and documentation
* Manage and track RAID logs, escalating risks and issues where required
* Coordinate meetings, prepare summaries/actions, and ensure follow-up is completed
* Facilitate communication between delivery teams, stakeholders, and project leadership
* Support change initiatives, helping teams adopt new processes, tools, and ways of working
* Ensure adherence to project governance, timelines, and quality standards
Desirable Skills * Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile tooling
* Understanding of project financials or resource forecasting
* Knowledge of regulatory environments (particularly useful in financial services)
* Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
* Relevant certifications (e.g., Agile, Prince2, Scrum Master) - beneficial but not essential
