Reception/Year 1 Teacher – Leyland School
Location: Leyland
Contract: January 2026 – July 2026 (2 Terms)
Pay: £168 – £215 per day (dependent on experience)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception/Year 1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Leyland for two terms starting January 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a strong team ethos.
About the Role
*Teach a mixed Reception/Year 1 class of 28 pupils.
*Work alongside a highly skilled team: 3 staff in the mornings and 2 staff in the afternoons.
*Deliver engaging lessons that inspire and nurture young learners.
*Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
What We’re Looking For
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in EYFS/KS1.
*Strong classroom management and excellent communication skills.
*Ability to plan creative and differentiated lessons.
*A passion for early years education and child development.
