Our client, a Greater Manchester council is seeking an Adult’s Advanced Practitioner to join their Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Lead complex safeguarding investigations and provide expert guidance on adult protection cases.
*Undertake risk assessments and develop robust safeguarding plans to ensure the safety and wellbeing of vulnerable adults.
*Offer professional supervision and support to social workers within the team, promoting best practice and compliance with statutory requirements.
*Chair safeguarding meetings and case conferences, ensuring multi-agency collaboration and effective decision-making.
*Provide specialist advice on legislation, policies, and procedures related to adult safeguarding.
*Monitor and review safeguarding interventions, ensuring timely and appropriate outcomes.
*Contribute to service development by identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
*Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England
*Must have minimum of 3 years post qualifying social work experience
