Job Description:
A reputable regional law firm is looking to recruit a Conveyancing Assistant to join its busy and friendly residential property team based in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in conveyancing who is looking to develop their career within a supportive, professional environment.
You’ll be working closely with experienced fee earners, providing high-quality administrative and client support across a broad range of residential property transactions. The firm has a strong reputation for client care and professional development, offering a welcoming and team-focused culture.
Key responsibilities include
• Assisting fee earners in the progression of conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
• Preparing and issuing contracts, TR1s, and other legal documentation
• Submitting searches and managing pre and post completion work
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and lenders
• Maintaining accurate file management and compliance with all regulatory requirements
What we’re looking for
• Previous experience working in residential conveyancing
• Strong organisational and communication skills with a focus on client care
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office
• A proactive and positive approach, with the desire to build a long-term career in property law
