Part time Credit Control Administrator

Job Description:
Reed Accountancy are currently seeking a temporary Credit Control Administrator to join the finance team of an established client in the Crawley area on an ongoing part-time basis (ideally 20 hours over 5 mornings). The primary focus of this role will be on cash allocation, ensuring that incoming payments are accurately matched to customer accounts and invoices.
Key Responsibilities
*Accurately allocate incoming payments to customer accounts and invoices.
*Investigate and resolve unallocated or misallocated payments.
*Liaise with internal departments and customers to clarify payment details.
*Maintain up-to-date records of cash allocation activities.
*Support month-end and year-end financial processes.
*Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
Skills & Experience Required
*Previous experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or cash allocation.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Excel.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
*Experience in a fast-paced finance environment is desirable.
