Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship – Secondary School (OFSTED Outstanding School, Bristol)

About the roleThis teaching assistant role is based in an OFSTED Outstanding secondary school in Bristol, known for its inclusive ethos, excellent pastoral care, and commitment to high academic standards. The school is looking to recruit an enthusiastic apprentice for the role starting in May 2025.
As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will play a key part in supporting pupils’ learning and development across a variety of subjects. You will work closely with teachers to create a positive and inspiring learning environment for all students.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Providing additional support to pupils in the classroom to help raise attainment levels
*Assisting in the delivery of effective teaching on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
*Helping with the planning and delivery of engaging lessons
*Supporting pupils with their educational and behavioural development
*Preparing classroom resources and learning materials
*Providing feedback to teachers and parents on pupil progress
*Assisting with extracurricular activities (e.g. homework clubs, revision sessions, or enrichment events)
