Mechanical Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter with a strong background in industrial machinery maintenance. This role is ideal for mechanically qualified technicians who thrive in high-pressure environments and are experienced in handling complex mechanical systems for various industrial machines used in industries such as FMCG, medical, automotive, and aerospace.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Responsible for the mechanical fitting, assembly, and installation on a variety of machines and components
*Maintain mechanical pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for industrial production and processing systems.
*Responsible for the Mechanical assembly and maintenance of industrial machines, involving a variety of machines.
*Work as part of a small team to meet tight deadlines.
*Read and understand complex mechanical schematics to ensure accurate installation and functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Mechanical qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds in Mechanical Engineering).
*Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter, particularly in an industrial setting.
*Strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.
*Ability to interpret and follow mechanical diagrams.
*Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
*Strong communication and teamwork skills.
