Job Title - SEN Teaching assistant
Location: Dartford
Contract Type: Supply / Bank Staff (as and when required)
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Supply Bank SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across a range of SEN schools within the Trust and to make a real difference in supporting children’s learning and development.
As part of our supply bank, you will be available to work on a flexible, as-needed basis, providing classroom support in the absence of permanent staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
* Assist with classroom activities, preparation of learning materials, and general administrative tasks.
* Encourage and motivate pupils to reach their full potential.
* Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment in line with the Trust’s values and policies.
Person Specification:
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility and reliability to work across different schools when required.
* Previous classroom experience or a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people (all posts are subject to enhanced DBS checks).
