Job Description:
Galileo Operations Specialist, 35K-40K. 35 hours per week. We are looking for a Galileo Specialist to join the growing operations support team at this Global, Award-Winning Travel Management Company. You’ll work closely with colleagues across their global offices, helping to keep things running smoothly and finding smarter ways to make their systems and processes even better.
Galileo Operations Specialist Responsibilities:
*Helping booking agents with their day-to-day ticketing and booking questions
*Managing ticket reissues — quoting, processing, and making sure everything’s accurate
*Giving hands-on support with GDS tools and processes
*Sorting out any ticketing or reissue problems that pop up
*Handling bookings, invoices, and NDC transactions
*Processing refunds quickly and efficiently
*Responding to refund queries from finance or support teams
*Following payment security guidelines to keep everything safe and compliant
Galileo Operations Specialist Skills and Experience Required:
*Confidence using Travelport+ Galileo
*Solid experience working in travel operations or a similar support role
*Strong understanding of fares, ticketing rules, reissues, and refunds
*Familiarity with net fares and how to maximise profit
*Comfortable using GDS automation and scripting tools
*Experience reviewing and resolving ADM cases
