Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Accountant for an established accountancy practice in Witham.
The Company
Under new leadership in the last 3 years, the firm has seen huge growth in terms of headcount, market share and service offering. The strong foundations from the firm’s history have been built upon, to create a dynamic, energetic environment where those who want to drive their own career and progress are fully supported to do so.
With an ambition to reach the UK top 100 in 4 years, and as a result of the recent growth, the firm has recently restructured to a ’pod’ structure – whereby experienced, high performing senior accountants are allocated a client portfolio to oversee, along with their own dedicated resource.
The Role
The ideal Accountant will be either qualified or newly qualified and have previous Practice experience.
The role of Accountant will involve overseeing the compliance obligations (statutory accounts, VAT, management accounts, tax returns etc), with dedicated personal tax/payroll/CoSec team members at the senior accountant’s disposal; but more importantly, prioritises getting to know your clients on a deeper level, cultivating the relationships and becoming an extended part of the client’s team.
The ideal candidate would be passionate about supporting clients and would resonate with the core values the company has established.
As an Accountant you will have your own portfolio of clients to oversee, along with your own dedicated resource.
