Freelance Email Campaign Manager / Creative Developer

Our client is a global FMCG leader and is now hiring for a Freelance Email Campaign Manager / Creative Developer to support a leading global CRM team in shaping high-impact email marketing campaigns across Europe. This is a long-term freelance contract, fully UK based remote, starting in the New Year.
About the Role:
You’ll be responsible for building, deploying, and optimising email marketing campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Working closely with internal marketing teams and external agencies, you’ll help drive personalisation, audience targeting, and performance-based improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and send email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud

* Manage timelines, assets, and approval workflows

* Monitor and report on campaign performance (open/click/unsub rates)

* Collaborate with CRM and analytics teams to improve delivery

* Contribute to strategic planning and best practice implementation

Skills & Experience Required:
* 2+ years’ experience using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)

* Solid HTML/email build and testing skills

* Understanding of email marketing best practices and accessibility

* Familiarity with wider CRM systems and email segmentation

* Strong stakeholder communication and time management skills

Desirable (but not essential):
* AMPscript, SQL for audience selection

* Adobe Creative Suite

* Salesforce Certification

* Experience working in multilingual or multi-market campaigns
