Accounts Payable Clerk – 4-Month Contract
£13.50–£14.00 per hour | Immediate Start | Hybrid Working
We’re on the lookout for a detail-driven Accounts Payable Clerk to support our finance team during a busy 4-month period. If you’re a fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing:
*Processing a high volume of supplier invoices with accuracy and speed
*Matching invoices to POs and receipts
*Ensuring correct approvals and GL coding
*Running monthly and ad-hoc payment batches (BACS, EFT)
*Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
*Responding to supplier and internal queries
*Supporting AP month-end close
*Pitching in with general finance tasks and ad hoc projects
What we’re looking for:
*Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a finance support role
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*Confident using Excel and standard office tools
*Great communication and time management skills
*Able to work independently and as part of a team
*Bonus points for experience with NetSuite and/or AutoEntry/AutoFlow
*Experience in a multi-entity environment is a plus
The offer:
*£13.50–£14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
*4-month contract with potential for extension
