We are now seeking a Proven Accounts/Credit Control & Bookkeeper to join our team. This role offers flexibility, with 30 - 40 hours available, making it ideal for candidates looking to balance work and life while playing a key part in the smooth running of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
*Managing customer accounts and monitoring outstanding balances.
*Chasing overdue payments in a professional and courteous manner.
*Raising and processing invoices, payments and credit notes.
*Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records including purchase and sales ledgers.
*Reconciling bank accounts, supplier statements and customer accounts.
*Assisting with VAT returns and preparing information for the accountant.
*Supporting month end and year end processes.
*Producing basic financial reports if required.
Skills and Experience
*Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounts or credit control.
*Familiarity with accounting software.
*Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
*Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with customers and suppliers professionally.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a small supportive team.
