Senior Lettings Negotiator – Job Description
Salary: £25k + a competitive OTE
Hours - Monday - Friday - 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am - 2pm
Overview
A dynamic and driven Senior Lettings Negotiator is required to join a high-performing lettings team. This role suits someone with proven experience in residential lettings, exceptional customer service standards, and the confidence to drive instructions, viewings, and lets while supporting the wider team. The successful candidate will act as a key ambassador for the brand, ensuring compliance, professionalism, and strong conversion rates across all stages of the lettings process.
Key Responsibilities
Applicant Management
*Register and qualify new applicants
*Match applicants to suitable properties and arrange viewings
*Conduct viewings and provide timely feedback to landlords
*Maintain regular communication with applicants to maximise conversion
Lettings Progression
*Negotiate offers between landlords and tenants
*Prepare offer paperwork and ensure all compliance checks are completed
*Liaise with referencing providers, landlords, and tenants to progress lets smoothly
*Support move-in processes, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant
Landlord Liaison
*Build strong relationships with landlords, providing updates and market insight
*Advise on pricing, marketing, and compliance requirements
*Deliver excellent customer service to encourage repeat business and referrals
Marketing & Administration
*Assist with preparing property listings, photography, and online marketing
*Ensure property details are accurate and compliant
*Maintain CRM systems and ensure all records are up to date
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in residential lettings ( A MUST)
*Strong communication and negotiation skills
*Confident, proactive, and target-driven
*Excellent customer service standards
*Good understanding of lettings legislation and compliance (or willingness to learn)
*Full UK driving licence
