Job Description:
I am excited to be representing my client, a market leader in the engineering industry, as they look to recruit a Customer Service Advisor on a full-time, permanent basis.
Main Function of the Position:
To deliver outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients by handling telephone and email queries efficiently, diagnosing issues accurately, and supporting field engineers to ensure smooth job completion and accurate invoicing. This role is pivotal in maintaining service excellence and operational flow.
Job Details & Benefits:
*Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
*Competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 DOE
*Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts between 7am–6pm (rota basis)
*Occasional Saturday, 8am–12pm (1 in 10)
*28 Days holiday inclusive of bank holidays

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
*Handle inbound calls and emails to raise or manage work orders
*Diagnose faults accurately and allocate to the appropriate engineer or manager
*Ensure service level agreements are met
*Maintain clear and accurate records of customer interactions and job details
*Provide timely updates to customers on outstanding repairs
*Support engineers throughout the day to ensure efficient job completion
*Close jobs accurately for invoicing and raise follow-up work orders as needed
*Liaise with other departments for technical support and escalation
*Log compliments, complaints, and feedback appropriately
Role Requirements:
*Helpdesk / Customer Service experience within Engineering / Facilities Management
*Customer Service and Administrative experience
*Strong IT Skills (MS Office, Freshdesk)
*Excellent Communication Skills
*Highly Organised
