Job Title: Administrator
Salary: £28,000-31,000 per annum depending on experience
Location: West York – Just outside the ring road - Easy commute from Harrogate/York area.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30-5pm and Friday 8.30-4.30pm.
Overview:
We are seeking a confident and experienced Administrator to work in a fast-paced, order-driven environment. This role involves handling administrative processes and ensuring smooth operations. You will handle varied responsibilities including order processing, customer communication, and supporting different departments.
Key Responsibilities:
*Accurately input and manage sales orders with SAGE (soon to be SAP) to ensure timely processing.
*Deliver exceptional customer support by handling queries promptly and professionally.
*Manage and direct incoming calls and emails to the appropriate departments for swift resolution.
*Provide a welcoming and professional experience for visitors, ensuring their needs are met.
*Perform a range of office administration tasks, including filing, scanning, and preparing documentation to support business operations.
*Maintain accurate and organised documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards.
*Represent the organisation professionally in all communications and interactions.
*Collaborate effectively with internal departments to support smooth operational workflows.
*Review and verify sales orders for discrepancies, escalating issues to the relevant team for correction.
*Resolve queries, issues, and complaints efficiently, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Person Specification:
*Proven experience in administration.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach.
*Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
*Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SAGE/SAP preferred).
*Professional, self-motivated, and a team player who leads by example.
