Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £46,535 to £50,107
Shifts: 4 on 4 off, rotating days and nights (2 days, 2 nights)

Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across the site

* Supporting breakdown response and ensuring rapid recovery of production

* Working in line with health, safety, and environmental procedures

* Ensuring all parts and spares are logged and recorded correctly

* Driving continuous improvement and lean initiatives across the maintenance department

* Basic fault finding on two-phase motors and related electrical components

Requirements:
* BTEC or NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical Engineering

* Basic electrical understanding, including two-phase motors

* Experience in a medium to heavy manufacturing environment

* Strong mechanical fault finding and problem-solving ability

* Familiarity with continuous improvement methods and planned maintenance systems

* Comfortable in a hands-on maintenance environment
