Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Account Handler:
• Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, providing proactive advice and day-to-day support.
• Prepare and process quotes, renewals, and adjustments across a variety of products including Commercial Combined, Property, Liability and Motor.
• Liaise with insurers to negotiate competitive terms and resolve queries efficiently.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client cover or provide additional solutions where suitable.
• Offer claims support and ensure all clients receive a high standard of ongoing service.
What we are looking for:
• Previous experience handling commercial insurance accounts within a broking environment.
• Ideally DIP CII qualified or working towards qualification is desirable.
• Understanding of the commercial insurance market, including SME and business risk issues.
• Professional, conscientious, and able to manage a varied workload.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise work effectively.
