Accounts Administrator
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum
Location: Office-based
Are you an experienced Accounts Administrator looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced environment? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our accounts team and provide efficient, accurate support across purchase and sales ledger functions.
Key Responsibilities
*Process high volumes of manual and EDI purchase ledger invoices accurately and on time.
*Resolve invoice discrepancies promptly to ensure timely vendor payments.
*Assist with financial administration, including reconciliations, payments, and bank deposits.
*Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and transactions.
*Support credit control and assist with collection efforts when required.
*Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operational processes.
*Provide holiday cover and assist with month-end procedures.
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in an accounts function, ideally in purchase ledger or accounts payable.
*Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a high-volume workload.
*Excellent communication skills and professional telephone manner.
*Competent in Outlook, Word, and Excel (training provided for internal systems).
*High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Personal Attributes
*Confident, approachable, and professional.
*Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player.
*Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
