Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Phonics Specialist
Location: DN1, Doncaster
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: 3 days per week until Easter
Pay: £110–£120 per day
Are you an experienced HLTA with a passion for phonics? We are seeking a proactive and efficient HLTA to join a welcoming primary school in Doncaster. This role focuses on delivering high-quality phonics sessions using the Little Wandle programme.
Key Responsibilities:
*Deliver engaging and effective phonics sessions across EYFS and KS1.
*Support pupils in developing early reading and writing skills.
*Work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider team.
*Monitor progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
Requirements:
*HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
*Strong knowledge and experience delivering Little Wandle phonics.
*Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach.
*Ability to start immediately and commit until Easter.
