Job Description:
Credit Controller opportunity with a leading Warrington based business.
Reporting to the Credit Manager, working alongside another credit controller, and responsible for your own ledger of approximately 500 live customers, your remit will include:
*Full remit of Accounts Receivable/Credit Control
*Opening and credit scoring new accounts
*Daily chasing of all accounts by phone & email - Taking a pro-active approach to ensure payments will be made on time
*Payment allocation
*Query resolution
*Clearing aged debt/DSO
*Passing any litigation stage customers to the credit manager
Applicants should have previous credit control experience and will be familiar with dealing with multiple high-volume accounts (Where customers can have between 1 – 100 invoices a month. You will have excellent communication skills, a good attention to detail and will thrive in a fast-paced finance team environment. A salary to £28k is complimented with benefits including 3% pension, healthcare, 25 days holidays (plus BHs), onsite parking and hybrid working (4 days office: 1 day home) . Applicants must also have full and indefinite eligibility to work in the UK (through being a UK citizen or having gained ILR) and should live within a sensible commute of Warrington.
