The Opportunity
Reed Practice is delighted to partner with this prestigious firm to recruit an Assistant Private Client Tax Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage an interesting portfolio of clients, support senior leadership, and mentor junior team members within a dynamic and growing tax department.
The tax team specialises in offering varied and interesting work including EIS, IHT (including more complex cases), SIPP, capital gains, property and estate planning, cross-border planning, and more. Reporting to the Head of Tax, your responsibilities will include - but not limited to:
*Preparing partnership, trust, and personal tax returns
*Delivering a wide range of tax services, ensuring compliance and deadlines are met
*Building lasting client relationships and providing proactive tax planning advice
*Reviewing complex tax returns and mentoring junior colleagues
*Supporting departmental growth and performance management
Beyond compliance, you’ll provide strategic tax advice to your portfolio and assist partners and managers with wider client needs.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will:
*Be ATT and/or CTA qualified (or possess equivalent experience)
*Have proven experience as an Assistant Tax Manager or be a strong Tax Senior ready to step up
*Demonstrate excellent technical tax knowledge and hands-on compliance expertise
*Be an exceptional communicator with a keen eye for detail
*Thrive in a collaborative environment, enjoying mentoring and client interaction
