An established and forward-thinking Building Consultancy at the forefront of the commercial property sector is on the lookout for a talented Chartered Building Surveyor to join their growing team in London. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious surveyor to take ownership of high-profile projects across office, retail, and industrial portfolios, while carving out a clear route towards Associate level and beyond.

The Chartered Building Surveyor Role
The successful Chartered Building Surveyor will focus on delivering high-quality surveying services across a diverse portfolio, including commercial, residential, and institutional projects. Responsibilities will include:
* Conducting pre-acquisition and condition surveys
* Managing dilapidations and party wall matters
* Overseeing contract administration and project management
* Preparing specifications, schedules, and technical reports
* Advising on property acquisition, development, and asset management strategies
* Supporting sustainability initiatives and decarbonisation efforts
This role offers a balance of professional services and project work, with opportunities to contribute to AHR’s sustainability goals and innovative projects.
The Successful Chartered Building Surveyor Will Have
Qualifications:
* MRICS qualified (essential)
* Degree in Building Surveying or related field
Knowledge & Attributes:
* Proven experience within a building consultancy environment
* Strong technical expertise in building pathology, contract administration, and project delivery
* Excellent communication and client-facing skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
* Commitment to sustainability and innovation in building design and performance
