People Consultant | Job Opportunity | 4-Month FTC
Location: Crawley; hybrid (with occasional travel to Canary Wharf)

Are you passionate about empowering managers and driving people-focused solutions? Join our client’s exciting People Services team as a People Consultant, where you’ll play a key role in delivering expert HR advice and supporting strategic people initiatives across the organisation. You’ll be a trusted advisor to managers, guiding them through complex employee relations cases, analysing people data to inform decisions, and contributing to impactful projects aligned with People Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
*Build strong relationships with managers, offering expert and commercially sound HR advice.
*Lead and support complex ER cases including performance, absence, disciplinary, and grievance matters.
*Mentor People Services Advisors and collaborate with Strategic People Partners on change programmes.
*Analyse people metrics and recommend strategic interventions.
*Deliver training and briefings aligned with our People Strategy.
*Continuously improve HR policies and processes for consistency and effectiveness.
What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience in a HR generalist or ER role.
*Strong knowledge of UK employment law and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
*Experience in organisational change and restructuring.
*Excellent communication, coaching, and influencing skills.
*Ability to analyse data and present insights clearly.
*High integrity, discretion, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
