Job Description:
Learning Support Assistant (2:1)
We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 2:1 support for a KS3 pupil with ASC and ADHD in a specialist secondary SEN setting.
Key Responsibilities * Provide consistent 1:1 support to a KS3 student, helping them access learning and manage daily routines.
* Implement strategies to support behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in lessons.
* Work closely with teachers and the SEN team to adapt learning materials and interventions.
*Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage independence and confidence.
Essential Skills & Experience * Behaviour management experience in a school or specialist setting.
* Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASC and ADHD.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and families.
* Patience, empathy, and resilience in supporting pupils with complex needs.
