CNC Programmer
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 depending on experience
Hours: Mon–Thurs 8:00 am–4:30 pm | Fri 8:00 am–1:00 pm
Our client is expanding their high-performance engineering team and is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with strong Hypermill skills to support the production of complex, high-precision F1 components.
Role Overview You will be responsible for programming 3–5 axis CNC milling machines using Hypermill, producing highly accurate parts for F1 and high-performance engineering applications. This role involves working closely with the machining team to optimise tooling, strategies, and machining methods.
Key Responsibilities *Create, modify, and optimise CNC programs using Hypermill
*Develop machining strategies for complex 3–5 axis components
*Support setters/operators with tooling, fixtures, and setup information
*Work closely with engineering to ensure manufacturability and accuracy
*Ensure programs achieve the required quality, tolerances, and lead times
Skills & Experience *Strong experience using Hypermill for 3–5 axis programming
*Deep understanding of CAD/CAM and precision machining
*Experience producing tight-tolerance, high-performance, or F1-grade components
*Ability to develop efficient machining strategies and solve machining challenges
*Strong communication and collaboration skills
