Job Title: Part-Time Legal Secretary (Private Client)
Location: Knaphill, Woking, Surrey
Salary: £16,000 - 18,00 Pro Rata (£28,000 – £31,000 FTE)
Job Type: Part-Time (3 Days per week, Flexible)
The Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Legal Secretary to join our friendly team in Knaphill on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous legal secretarial experience within wills, probate & inheritance who is looking for a flexible role in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Provide administrative and secretarial support to the fee earners with all private client matters (Wills, probate & Inheritance)
*Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and reports
*Manage diaries, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings
*Handle incoming calls and emails, ensuring excellent client service
*Maintain and update client files and case management systems
*Assist with billing and time recording
What We’re Looking For:
*Previous experience as a legal secretary (ideally in private client work)
*Excellent typing and IT skills (Microsoft Office, case management systems)
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Discreet, professional, and able to handle confidential information
*A team player with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills
