Salary: £52,000–£63,000 DOE

About the Role
We are seeking a Compliance Manager to support the business in fostering a proactive culture of compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to influence firm-wide processes and shape compliance practices as the organization evolves.
Key Responsibilities
*Governance & Oversight *Maintain and improve systems and controls enabling COLP/COFA to discharge duties under SRA Standards and Regulations.
*Record and report breaches, including serious breaches.
*Coordinate quarterly compliance reporting to Partners with clear metrics, trend analysis, and remediation actions.

*Anti-Money Laundering (AML) *Manage day-to-day operation of AML policies, controls, and procedures (PCPs) and the practice-wide risk assessment (PWRA).
*Ensure alignment with Money Laundering Regulations 2017 (as amended).
*Plan and deliver independent AML audits on an annual cycle, track remediation to closure.

Skills & Experience
*Experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory roles within legal, financial, or other regulated sectors.
*Familiarity with SRA Standards & Regulations and AML frameworks is advantageous.
*Understanding of Money Laundering Regulations 2017, LSAG guidance, and SRA’s AML supervision approach.
*Professional certifications (ICA, CISI, IAPP) are valued but not essential.
