What you’ll do:
As a Senior Associate, you will play an integral part in ensuring flawless post-trade management for both high and low-touch desks. Your day will begin early as you pick up overnight activity before diving into morning trade flows alongside traders. Throughout the day you will address ad-hoc queries from various stakeholders, ranging from sales traders to compliance officers while managing allocations, reconciliations, broker matching groups, average price calculations, bulking trades, and more. You’ll leverage your deep understanding of cash equities products as well as your proficiency with industry-standard platforms like Fidessa and Bloomberg to ensure every transaction is processed accurately. Your ability to interpret data quickly using Excel or Python will help drive process improvements while keeping risk tightly controlled. Success in this role means being able to juggle multiple priorities calmly under pressure while always delivering reliable results for your team.
What you bring:
To excel as a specialist, you will bring extensive experience gained from supporting sell-side operations. Your background should reflect deep familiarity with cash equities workflows, including allocations management exposure to related products such as FX forwards or convertible bonds. You’ll have honed your technical abilities through daily use of sophisticated trading platforms like Fidessa or Bloomberg CTM/ALERT while developing advanced Excel skills for automating repetitive tasks or analysing large data sets. Your interpersonal strengths will shine through when collaborating with diverse teams under pressure, whether resolving urgent queries or contributing ideas during quieter moments. A keen awareness of regulatory requirements ensures you maintain rigorous standards around compliance/risk mitigation at all times.
