Senior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Bristol
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 + Excellent Benefits
Are you an experienced Acoustic Consultant looking to progress into a senior-level position? Our client, an established acoustic and environmental consultancy is expanding its Bristol office and seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to lead diverse projects across the building, environmental, and infrastructure sectors.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, innovative team where your technical expertise and leadership will drive high-quality project delivery and support the company’s ongoing growth.
Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage complex acoustic projects from initial concept through to completion
* Conduct acoustic assessments, modelling, and produce detailed technical reports
* Build strong client relationships and ensure project objectives are met
* Mentor and guide junior consultants
* Support the preparation of bids, proposals, and technical presentations
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and planning authorities to deliver integrated, sustainable acoustic solutions
About You * Degree in Acoustics, Physics, or a related field
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in acoustic consultancy
* Strong knowledge of BS4142, BS8233, ProPG, and other key industry standards
* Experienced with software such as CadnaA, SoundPLAN, CATT, or Odeon
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
* MIOA membership (or working towards it)
* Full UK driving licence
