This Global Energy Firm based in central London is looking to hire a Financial Controller due to the growth plans. They are well-established in the industry and have presence in various countries. They are looking for someone that can help adding value to the finance team as well as the wider business.
Role
The Financial Controller has overall responsibility for day-to-day finance operations and management report preparation, cash flow management, budgets and forecasting, annual audit as well as VAT returns. You will work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and get involved in driving various finance transformation projects. You will be reporting to the CFO and leading a team of 6.
Profile
The successful candidate for the Financial Controller vacancy will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a few years of work experience in industry.
A ’can-do’ attitude is required as well as experience within an international business. Sound knowledge of accounting standards i.e., IFRS, UKGAAP. Strong communication and influencing skills with ability to simplify complex problems and build solution are desired. This role will be mainly offering a hybrid working structure and the offices are based in central London.
