Job Description:
Our client, a leading provider of Mechanical and Electrical services with over 45 years of industry experience, is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Leeds. The role is a permanent, full-time position focusing on the data centre sector.
Key Responsibilities: *Attend project start-up meetings and manage all mechanical aspects to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery
*Familiarise yourself with project specifications and details
*Collate technical submittals and follow through until approval
*Manage the labour tracker and maintain weekly progress reports
*Report and manage any changes or variations in the project
*Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team
*Oversee the coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment
*Ensure adequate materials are available to complete the project
*Implement construction and commissioning programmes on-site
*Manage the handover process and maintain the document management system
*Attend meetings with subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery
*Attend general site meetings and action any points raised
*Communicate project-specific innovations to the Contracts Manager
Job Requirements: *Extensive experience in a Mechanical Project Manager or similar role
*Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects
*Qualification in Construction or Project Management is preferred
*Experience in supervising teams
