Job Description:
The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Tuxford area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 1 ADR Drivers (C+E ADR Packages) to join the team.
Hours: Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays, 07:30am starts (average finish 6-7pm)
Pay Rates:
*£16.39 per hour with ADR (PAYE)
Location: Tuxford, NG22.
Job Type: Temp to perm position (perm after 8 weeks).
The role:
*General haulage – palletised goods (no food)
*Curtainsiders, tail lift & pump truck use
*Delivering to both commercial and residential properties (up to 10 drops/collections)
*Completing all relevant paperwork and following site procedures
*Ensuring safe handling of goods and maintaining high driving standards
Requirements:
*Minimum 2 years Class 1 (C+E) driving experience
*ADR Packages licence preferred but not essential
*Must be 25+ (insurance purposes)
*Maximum 6 points – no DD/DR/IN endorsements
*Full understanding of WTD legislation
*Strong communication & customer service skills
*Happy with both commercial and residential deliveries
