Job Description:
Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Advisor to join our Future Directions Leaving Care Service in Barnsley. You’ll work with care-experienced young people aged 16–25, helping them transition from care to independent living and achieve their goals.
Location: Barnsley (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)
Pay: £13.69 per hour
Contract: 3 months temporary (with the possibility to go permanent) - Full-time
What You’ll Do
*Support young people as they move into adulthood, providing practical and emotional help.
*Develop and review Pathway Plans with achievable goals.
*Advocate for care leavers and work closely with partner agencies.
*Promote independence and positive outcomes in housing, education, employment, and wellbeing.
What We’re Looking For
*A kind, caring, and passionate individual committed to improving lives.
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
*Ability to work collaboratively and maintain professional boundaries.
*Experience supporting young people or vulnerable individuals is desirable.
