Our client, a leading provider of Mechanical and Electrical services, is currently seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join their team in Leeds, UK. This permanent, full-time role is critical within the data centre sector, contributing to the execution of large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities: *Attending project start-up meetings to understand all project specifications and details
*Managing technical submittals, ensuring they are issued and approved
*Raising and managing Requests for Information (RFIs)
*Tracking labour and maintaining weekly progress reports, managing any changes or variations
*Liaising with main contractors and client-based site teams
*Overseeing coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment
*Ensuring materials availability for project completion
*Implementing the commission plan on site and ensuring construction and commissioning programmes are in place
*Generating regular snag lists and managing the handover process
*Scheduling project specifics and coordinating with subcontractors
*Attending general site meetings and addressing action points
Job Requirements: *Extensive experience as an Electrical Project Manager or in a similar role
*Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects
*Qualification in Construction or Project Management is preferred
*Experience in supervising teams
*Strong M&E project management skills
*Excellent communication and organisational abilities
*Ability to maintain detailed progress reports and manage project variations effectively
