Job Description:
*This role is fully onsite
Assistant Accountant - Temporary to Perm
8-5pm (40 hours)
£35-38,000
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Assistant Management Accountant to assist the Finance Manager with in the day-to-day running of the Financial Controls and month end closure.
Initially this role will be offered on a temporary basis but the role could become permanent.
This role is office based - the client are not able to offer hybrid working for this role.
Experience & Qualifications
The successful candidate will have at least three years experience working within a similar role, as well as having a formal Accountancy Qualification i.e. part qualified or actively studying AAT, ACCA, CIMA
Duties:
*Prepare bank statements to enable bank allocations
*Processing of purchase invoices on to Mfour/SAP
*Resolving supplier queries
*Dealing with purchase invoices
*Reconciliation of GRNI to the suppliers
*Processing of employee expenses via Concur
*Daily reconciliations of bank accounts
*Preparing month end journals for review
*Customer and supplier rebate calculations
*Prepare and analyse daily commercial reports
*Stock reconciliation and provision
Skills & Attributes:
*Proficient user of technology, competent in the use of MS Office applications
*Detail orientated and accurate
*Confident working under pressure and to deadlines within a fact paced environment
*Excellent communication and organisation skills
*Able to plan, prioritise and make decisions independently
*Enjoys working as an integral team member
