Job Description:
Paraplanner - Chester
Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience (ideally £35,000 to £40,000, with flexibility for highly experienced and qualified candidates)
Hours: Full-time
Location: Chester (Hybrid working available)
Our client is a fast-growing financial planning firm with a close-knit team of six. As they continue to expand, they are seeking an experienced Paraplanner who is committed to a long-term career in Paraplanning. About the Role The successful candidate will play an integral part in delivering high-quality financial planning support. You will work directly with advisers and administrators to produce detailed technical work, research, and compliant reports that help deliver exceptional client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities * Conduct thorough research and analysis across pensions, investments, protection, tax and estate planning
* Prepare clear, accurate and well-structured suitability reports
* Collaborate with advisers to refine client objectives and develop comprehensive strategies
* Support cashflow modelling and scenario planning
* Ensure all documentation is compliant and meets regulatory standards
* Provide technical input and help enhance internal advice processes
About You * Demonstrable experience in a Paraplanner role within financial planning or wealth management
* Ideally Level 4 Diploma qualified, or actively working towards it
* Strong technical knowledge across pensions, investments and taxation
* Excellent written communication, analytical skills and attention to detail
* Highly organised and proactive, with a commitment to producing work of a high standard
* Confident using financial planning software such as Voyant, CashCalc or FE Analytics
