Job Description:
Are you a Qualified SEND looking for a new opportunity?
Do you have a passion for helping students who face struggles when it comes to education?
Engage education are currently seeking qualified teachers to work in an SEN environment that was recognised as outstanding for its pupil progression. The students are between age 16 and 25 and all have additional needs including ASD, ADHD and SEMH needs. Some of the students have experienced previous trauma and require emotional as well as educational support. The school fosters a supportive and engaging environment providing students with the opportunity to gain vocational qualifications alongside their entry level to level 2 English and Maths.
The centre prides themselves on giving students another chance and boosting their employability skills as well as confidence and self belief. The successful candidates will have the ability to bring maths and english to life and will inspire students to engage and believe they can do well. You will need to have experience working with students with SEN and be able to self manage and work as part of a team.
Job specification
*Teach Maths and/or English from entry level to level 2
*Inspire and motivate students
*4 days teaching 1 day planning
*Deliver lessons to a mixed cohort of learners
*Deliver creative lessons embedded with learning
Person specification
*Dedicated and committed
*Understanding of SEN
*Experience working with SEN and SEMH
*QTS or extensive experience teaching.
