Description
*Support with period-end close, ensuring financials are submitted timely and accurately
*Prepare forecasts and analyse the company’s short, medium and long-term positions
*Financial modelling and performance analysis
*Create and take ownership of data models to drive monthly forecasting, quarterly guides and annual budgets
*Interpret financial information on costs, prices, expenses and revenues and make recommendations to senior management
*Identify new methods of analysis and presentation and make recommendations to senior management
*Variance analysis and ad hoc reporting to support management decisions
*Maintain internal control standards of the Group to ensure integrity of financial reports with transparency
*Play an active part with internal audit processes
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*Have experience in the manufacturing industry - desirable
*Be part qualified (ACCA/CIMA)
